Reeperbahn Festival: SCHILLER x Julia Sanina

SCHILLER und Julia Sanina präsentieren die Ukraine als „Guest Country of Honour" beim Reeperbahn Festival.

In seiner Keynote auf der Opening Show des „Reeperbahn Festivals” am 16.09.26 wird SCHILLER die Ukraine als „Guest Country of Honour" vorstellen. Das Publikum darf sich auf einen Vortrag freuen, der ein Land in den Mittelpunkt rückt, das trotz des andauernden Krieges eine außergewöhnliche kulturelle Kraft entfaltet.

SCHILLER wird intensive und persönliche Eindrücke teilen, die während zahlreicher Konzertreisen und Begegnungen in Kriegszeiten entstanden sind. Im Zentrum steht der ungebrochene Freiheitsdrang einer Bevölkerung im Ausnahmezustand – Menschen, die selbst unter ständiger Gefahr und Unsicherheit ihren Willen zu Gestaltung und Ausdruck bewahren.

Es erwartet die Besucherinnen und Besucher ein eindringliches Porträt jenes schöpferischen Widerstandsgeistes, der die ukrainische Kultur derzeit so besonders macht: Musik und künstlerisches Schaffen werden dort nicht trotz, sondern gerade wegen der Umstände zu einem Zeichen von Identität, Zusammenhalt und Hoffnung. Mit der Ukraine als Ehrengastland erhält diese Kraft eine würdige Bühne.

Julia Sanina von „The Hardkiss” wird ebenfalls Teil der Opening Show sein. SCHILLER und Juila werden im Rahmen der Opening Show ihren gemeinsamen Song „My Silence” spielen.

SCHILLER will share intense and personal impressions gathered during numerous concert tours and encounters in times of war. At its heart lies the unbroken desire for freedom of a people living in a state of emergency – people who, even amid constant danger and uncertainty, hold on to their will to create and express themselves.

Visitors can expect a moving portrait of the creative spirit of resistance that makes Ukrainian culture so remarkable right now: there, music and artistic creation become a sign of identity, solidarity and hope – not in spite of the circumstances, but precisely because of them. With Ukraine as Guest Country of Honour, this energy is given a fitting stage.

Julia Sanina of The Hardkiss will also be part of the Opening Show. Together, SCHILLER and Julia will perform their joint song "My Silence."
