Willkommen in der Welt von „Euphoria”

Ich habe dieses Album aus einem inneren Bedürfnis heraus geschrieben. Aus dem Gefühl, dass wir gerade etwas brauchen, das trägt, das öffnet, das uns erinnert, wie es sich anfühlt, loszulassen.

Musik ist für mich genau das: ein Raum, in den man eintreten kann, um alles andere für einen Moment hinter sich zu lassen. Manchmal frage ich mich ernsthaft, wie das Leben ohne sie wäre – ohne diese Kraft, die uns berührt, uns aufhebt, uns verbindet.

„Euphoria“ ist meine Antwort auf die Zeit, in der wir leben. Ein Album, das Energie zulässt, das wieder nach vorne drängt, auf den Dancefloor, in die Nacht, ins Licht. Klanglich bin ich bewusst wieder näher an den Club gerückt: treibender, direkter, pulsierender.

Schwebende Melodien treffen auf hypnotische Beats, Stimmen tauchen auf wie Erinnerungen und verschwinden wieder im Raum. Alles ist in Bewegung. Ich hatte das große Glück, diesen Kosmos gemeinsam mit wunderbaren Künstlerinnen und Künstlern zu erweitern.

Mit 8Kays entstand der Titeltrack „Euphoria“ – ein emotionaler, fast kosmischer Rausch, voller Spannung, Weite und Energie. „Sieben Nächte“, gemeinsam mit Frida Gold, ist eine Einladung: mitzukommen, sich treiben zu lassen, hinein in die Dunkelheit, in die Ferne, getragen von Synthesizern und Sehnsucht.

Mit der Leipziger Techno-Live-Band Karakum habe ich an „Memories Of Beyond“ und „Horizon“ gearbeitet – zwei Stücke, die nach oben wollen, die Grenzen auflösen und neue Ebenen öffnen.

„My Silence“, gemeinsam mit Julia Sanina entstanden, ist eine wegweisende Zusammenarbeit, die die ukrainische Sprache mit elektronischen Vibes verbindet. 

Dieses Album ist für mich ein emotionales Spannungsfeld, ein Spiel aus Loslassen und Intensität, aus Nähe und Weite. Wenn es gelingt, dass man sich darin verliert, wenn man für einen Moment alles um sich herum vergisst, dann hat „Euphoria“ genau das getan, wofür es entstanden ist. Denn am Ende bleibt für mich immer dieselbe Frage – und dieselbe Antwort: Musik ist unverzichtbar.

Ohne sie wäre alles nur halb so hell.

I wrote this album out of an inner necessity. Out of the feeling that we need something right now—something that carries us, opens us up, reminds us what it feels like to let go.

For me, music is exactly that: a space you can step into, leaving everything else behind for a moment. Sometimes I honestly wonder what life would be like without it—without this force that touches us, lifts us up, and connects us.

“Euphoria” is my response to the time we’re living in. An album that allows energy again, that pushes forward—back onto the dancefloor, into the night, into the light.

Sonically, I made a conscious move closer to the club: more driving, more direct, more pulsating. Floating melodies meet hypnotic beats; voices appear like memories and dissolve back into space. Everything is in motion.

I was incredibly fortunate to expand this universe together with wonderful artists.

The title track “Euphoria”, created with 8kays, is an emotional, almost cosmic rush—full of tension, vastness, and energy.

“Seven Nights”, made with Frida Gold, is an invitation: to come along, to drift—into the darkness, into the distance—carried by synthesizers and longing.

With the Leipzig-based techno live band Karakum, I worked on “Memories of Beyond” and “Horizon”—two tracks that reach upward, dissolve boundaries, and open new dimensions.

For me, this album is an emotional field of tension—a play between surrender and intensity, closeness and openness. If it manages to pull you in, if you lose yourself for a moment and forget everything around you, then “Euphoria” has done exactly what it was meant to do.

Because in the end, it always comes back to the same question—and the same answer:

music is indispensable.

Without it, everything would be only half as bright.
